SERIES: CHARITY
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, gentleness, meekness, faith.
He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.
Herein is love not that we loved God, but He loved us and sent His son to be a
propitiation for our sins. For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us; God is love and he
that loves dwells in God and God in Him.
And this is love that we walk after His commandments. If ye love me keep my
commnadments. Love works no ill to his neighbour, therefore, love fulfills the
Law or Torah.
And Those who have the LAW OF GOD OR TORAH reposed as the centre of their
consciousness will exercise all power, authority, and dominion beneath the
heavens in the earth below to the glory and honour of the CREATOR AND
REDEEMER.
Charity suffers long, being patient, because it is kind or compassionate, or
merciful. Because of these two: patience and kindness, it is not envious, nor
boastful, nor proud, nor vulgar, nor selfish, nor easily provoked, nor thinks
evil. Yea, she rejoices not in iniquity but only the truth. She therefore bears
all things, believes all things, hope in all things, and endures all things as
she never fails. This is the faith which overcomes the world: the faith which
works only by love.
We hope to demonstrate from whence Paul got this definitin for Charity as recorded in 1Corinthians 13, the source is rooted in the Torah or the Law (the precepts or statutes especially the Decalogue and the Pentateuch). From this, we will then understand why the Twelve Names of the Sons of Israel are placed upon the Twelve Gates of Pearl through which every one that enters the New Jerusalem must walk to bring their glory and honour into the City and Tabernacle of God and of the Lamb.
